If you’re in New York, there is definitely no shortage of high quality pizzas. But let me put you on to my favorite slice in the city: The Buffalo Chicken Pizza at Diamond Slice Pizza in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
I stumbled on this spot when my sister first moved to the neighborhood, and I went in expecting to grab a standard pepperoni slice. I was pleasantly surprised by their lineup of unique flavors. One slice in particular caught my eye: The Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
Its bright orange sauce was calling my name. The best part of the pie is how they nail the ratio of high-quality ingredients in every single bite.
In one mouthful you get mozzarella, hand breaded chicken cutlet, buffalo sauce, scallions, and house ranch all on a crispy thin crust.
Honestly, I have yet to find a better buffalo chicken slice anywhere. Now, every time I’m in Greenpoint, I have to stop by and get one.
It really is the little things in life that brighten your day. Every time I visit, I have the best intentions of trying one of their other toppings—like the elote on ciabatta—, but I just can’t bring myself to change my order. The buffalo chicken is that good. Consider this my love letter to the absolute best buffalo chicken pizza in NYC. Honestly, it might even be my favorite slice period.
