What’s up Piglets! We want to share three Philly Chinatown spots we keep coming back too again and again! Whether you are a first time visitor, or you want to branch out from your usual spots there is a place on this list for you.
1. Cily Chicken Rice and Thai food
Whenever we are in Chinatown, our lunch plans inevitably lead us back to Cili for their incredible and affordable chicken and rice set for two. The menu item that we order every time is the Mixed Style Set Meal, a yummy combination that pairs their flavorful boiled chicken with perfectly crisp fried chicken. What elevates this meal into a consistent craving are the accompaniments. The seasoned rice is savory. The warm radish soup provides a crystal-clear and refreshing contrast. Finally, the sauce trio of packs a serious, vibrant punch. It is a beautifully balanced and satisfying every single time.

2. Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House
For a meal that truly warms you up head to Nan Zhou Noodle house, and order the Braised Sliced Beef Noodle Soup. You can get the broth spicy or plain, and choose between their fresh hand-drawn or thicker hand-cut noodles. They also serve great dry noodles and dumplings if you aren’t in a soup mood, but we highly recommend sticking with the beef noodle soup!

3. Chi Cha San Chen
After a warm, filling meal, you’ll definitely want a refreshing drink to carry around while you explore Chinatown. Head over to CHICHA San Chen. Their incredibly high-quality, award-winning Taiwanese teas are easily the best fruit teas we’ve tried.
